Demon Tides makes movement customization part of exploring its ocean world. If trying different ways through a platforming challenge sounds appealing, Fabraz’s adventure offers talismans that modify or expand Beebz’s abilities, alongside hidden chests and challenges. The official press kit follows Beebz and her crew across Ragnar’s Rock: the emphasis is on how you move through its spaces, rather than preparing for a survival-climbing expedition.

Customize the route, not just the outfit

Fabraz’s Steam description lists talisman modifications including paragliders, hookshots and bubbles, plus checkpoints you place yourself. Those systems are the main reason to consider it if you enjoy experimenting with platforming solutions. Outfits, headgear and hair dyes offer appearance customization separately from movement abilities. The developer also says the narrative welcomes newcomers without requiring them to play Demon Turf first.

Although other players can leave a mark on the world, this is listed as a single-player game. Its online features include racing recorded ghosts, leaderboards and graffiti shared into other players’ worlds, not a real-time co-op campaign. Full controller support and Steam Cloud are listed, and an available demo gives you a way to assess the movement before buying.

Available on PC; Switch remains TBD

Steam records a February 19, 2026 release, not a coming-soon listing. The Fabraz homepage links Steam separately from a Switch link still labeled TBD, which does not confirm a shipped Switch edition. Steam’s platform fields list Windows support, with no native Mac or Linux build. The studio’s broader history of cross-platform games does not establish additional versions of Demon Tides.

Read the PC requirements with care

The official Steam app details specify a minimum 3.0 GHz processor, 4 GB RAM, GeForce GT 740 or equivalent, DirectX 11 and 5 GB available storage. An SSD is required. Recommended entries are a 4 GHz processor, 8 GB RAM, GeForce RTX 30 or equivalent and DirectX 12, with the same 5 GB storage and SSD requirement.

These specifications leave important gaps: clock speed does not identify a CPU model, and RTX 30 is a broad GPU label, not an exact card. They are publisher-declared requirements, not evidence that any matching-frequency computer reaches a particular frame rate. The OS field reads Windows 10/11/12; that wording alone does not confirm Windows 12 availability or tested support. There is no specific resolution, handheld battery-life result or benchmark to rely on.

Steam Deck compatibility is listed as Verified, covering default controls, controller glyphs, legible interface text and the default graphics configuration. That classification is distinct from a native Linux build and does not promise a fixed frame rate. If your setup is near the broad specification entries, trying the available demo is more useful than treating those labels as precise performance guarantees.

Replay modes are available, but DLSS was removed

Fabraz’s patch notes describe New Game+ and Randomizer as additions in patch 1.1. New Game+ begins from a 100% save and resets the story while retaining outfits, dyes and talismans. It doubles damage, substitutes harder enemies and removes shortcut ropes. Randomizer starts from an empty save and varies rewards, shop selections, enemies and biomes. Randomizer HEX adds a further restriction: pickups are automatically equipped and cannot be changed.

The 1.1.2 notes say the DLSS option was completely removed because of numerous issues, so an older mention of it is not a reason to assume current availability. The notes continue through hotfix 1.1.5. That history records developer changes, not a guarantee that every issue is resolved or that your hardware has been independently benchmarked.

Price, player feedback and the buying decision

On October 9, 2026, the U.S.-region Steam listing showed a USD base-game price of $24.99 with a zero-percent discount. This is a dated listing for the base game, not a bundle price, currency conversion, worldwide offer or guaranteed checkout total. Regional pricing, applicable taxes and later promotions may differ.

The Steam user-review summary on October 9 reported Overwhelmingly Positive across 840 reviews: 807 positive and 33 negative. This all-language query filters to Steam purchases. The changing totals describe that review sample, not sales or active players; other filters and later reads may produce different counts. They are a community signal, not assurance that the movement will suit everyone.

The developer’s described systems make Demon Tides most relevant to a solo platformer fan who enjoys exploration, movement customization and optional competition against ghosts. If controls or hardware fit will determine your purchase, start with the demo. Judge the released PC game on those priorities, rather than expecting a co-op campaign, a confirmed Switch release or a graphics option removed in later patches.
