Choose your Meta Quest shooter by the kind of session you want, not by treating every game with a gun as the same purchase. Pavlov Shack and Breachers emphasize multiplayer matches. Contractors Showdown: ExfilZone emphasizes extraction, equipment decisions, and the risk of leaving with loot. Into the Radius is the original single-player survival game, Spatial Ops uses mixed reality, and Metal: Hellsinger VR ties shooting to musical timing.

This is a source-based comparison of six selected games across 22 buying criteria. It is not a hands-on benchmark, an exhaustive ranking of Quest shooters, or a claim that one title is the universal winner. The goal is to clarify what each game asks you to do and which practical checks matter before purchase.

How to Read the Comparison

Games run across the table columns, while buying criteria run down the rows. Both table groups use the same rows, making it possible to compare multiplayer, extraction, solo survival, mixed-reality, and rhythm-based options without treating them as interchangeable experiences. On a narrow screen, swipe the table sideways rather than shrinking the text until the entries become difficult to read.

Every game also has a dedicated PlayTechDeep detail article. Those guides provide a fuller explanation of the individual listing, official footage, and relevant caveats; the comparison is intended to help you decide which guides deserve a closer look.

Prices, Listings, and the Limits of the Snapshot

Prices are U.S. base-price snapshots checked on October 4, 2026 against Quest Store DB’s USD data, not checkout quotes. The published listings show $19.99 for Pavlov Shack, Breachers, Contractors Showdown: ExfilZone, and Spatial Ops. Into the Radius and Metal: Hellsinger VR are listed at $29.99.

Those figures should be treated as a point-in-time reference. Expired sale prices are not treated as current offers, and the amount shown at checkout can be affected by regional taxes or account-specific offers. Check Meta’s current store page and the final purchase screen before paying.

Storage requirements, headset support, language information, age ratings, play postures, and comfort labels are changeable public-listing details. A language appearing in a listing does not establish full voice localization. Likewise, a store comfort category cannot guarantee that you will personally find a game’s movement comfortable. This comparison did not measure frame rate, rendering resolution, matchmaking wait times, or active player numbers.

Multiplayer Matches and Extraction Decisions

Triangle Factory describes Breachers as a tactical 5v5 shooter with rappelling, vaulting, and multiple objective modes. Its appeal is closely tied to coordinated attack and defense: communication, timing, and the way a team approaches an objective matter more than simply counting weapons or maps. This is the direction to investigate when a shared tactical match is the central reason for buying.

Pavlov Shack is the multiplayer alternative to examine when you want several formats and physical weapon handling. Its listing includes 5v5 Search and Destroy alongside other multiplayer modes. That gives it a different buying question from Breachers. Mode variety may matter more to one group, while another may prefer a more focused team objective structure. Neither difference establishes that one game is universally better.

Extraction changes the rhythm again. For ExfilZone, Caveman’s official site emphasizes equipment, missions, scavenging, and survival. The current listing also includes a PvE mode, so it would be misleading to describe the entire app as PvP-only. The relevant check is whether you enjoy planning a loadout, searching for useful gear, managing risk, and deciding when to leave with what you found.

That decision gives ExfilZone a different kind of tension from a fixed objective match. A buyer who wants immediate, repeatable rounds may be looking for a different structure from someone who enjoys preparing equipment and weighing a potentially valuable extraction against the danger of staying longer.

Solo Survival, Mixed Reality, and Rhythm

The developer’s original Into the Radius listing describes a single-player survival game. It is the option to examine when exploration and scavenging are more important than joining a social match. Keep the original game distinct from its sequel: the sequel’s multiplayer features should not be transferred to this listing.

Resolution Games describes Spatial Ops as both co-located mixed-reality Arena play and a separate solo campaign. Arena supports up to 8 players. That combination makes room layout and the people available to play especially important checks. A buyer with suitable space and a regular group may value the shared Arena format, while someone playing alone can instead consider the campaign. It is not accurate to treat the app as multiplayer-only.

For a different solo direction, Funcom describes Metal: Hellsinger VR around shooting on the beat, with campaign and challenge content. The key distinction is musical timing: actions are shaped by the beat rather than merely accompanied by a soundtrack. The useful question is not only whether you like the music, but whether making rhythm part of combat sounds rewarding.

The Buying Checks That Matter Most

Start with who will play, where they will play, and how they expect a session to feel. Check the multiplayer format before buying for a group, and check the single-player structure before assuming a social game will serve solo sessions. For mixed-reality play, consider the room layout and whether enough people are actually available. In a small room, posture and movement requirements deserve separate attention from the headset compatibility list.

Price is useful for narrowing a shortlist, but it should not decide between games with fundamentally different session structures. The same is true of gun counts or a long feature list. A tactical 5v5 match, an extraction run, a survival campaign, an Arena session, and rhythm-based combat can all be shooters while asking for very different kinds of time and attention.

Use the individual guides for fuller explanations, then compare the current store pages for the details most likely to change. If you are choosing between two specific experiences, read both dedicated guides and verify the listings immediately before buying.
